Ерик Флінт та Девід Вебер майстерно переплітають реальні історичні події з фантастичними елементами, створюючи захоплюючий сюжет, який тримає в напрузі від початку до кінця. Я був вражений, як автори змогли передати атмосферу 17 століття, з усіма його політичними інтригами та військовими стратегіями, водночас додаючи елементи сучасних технологій та ідей. Персонажі, зокрема американські технологи та військові, розкриваються у своїй боротьбі за справедливість та свободу, що робить їх близькими та зрозумілими. Хоча в тексті іноді трапляються недосконалості перекладу, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто любить альтернативну історію, військову тематику та захоплюючі пригоди!
