From the author: Quite recently - in the spring of 2010 - the third book in the series “The Double of the Most Serene” - “Golden Alaska” was posted on the liters website. Over the following months, I received about one hundred and twenty responses: praise, ridicule, suggestions for improving the text... Surprisingly, the main “demand” of the readers sounded something like this: “Let the main characters float throughout the third book!” There will still be time with this Alaska, it won’t go anywhere...” The following wishes were also heard: “Isn’t it possible to add sea romance? More, but better? Bloodthirsty pirates, for example... And please introduce a little melodramatic plot lines into the text! It’s a little dry here... Is it possible to make Peter the Great a little cunning, smarter and more cunning? A statesman, after all! Is it possible...” Well, I’m going to meet the respected readers halfway. Let there be pirates, terry romance and elements of South American melodrama. Why not, actually? A separate book will be dedicated to the adventures of the heroes in Alaska. It will most likely be called “Golden Alaska”... That is, the novel “Golden Alaska” will be transformed into two novels – “The Sounding Wind of Wandering” and “Golden Alaska.”
