Історія двох найкращих подруг, Медоу та Керрі, які виросли в Лос-Анджелесі у 80-х, розкриває не лише їхні відносини, але й соціальні питання, які залишаються актуальними й сьогодні. Автор майстерно показує, як різні погляди на секс, владу та мораль можуть впливати на дружбу, і як ці відмінності можуть призвести до конфліктів. Джеллі, третій персонаж, додає в сюжет загадковості та інтриги, адже її спосіб спілкування з чоловіками через слухання відкриває нові грані людських стосунків. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, загальна якість та емоційна насиченість твору компенсують це. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибокі та змістовні історії про дружбу, самопізнання та соціальні питання!
