Ця книга стала для мене справжнім відкриттям! Лексі Малоун - сильна, незалежна жінка, яка готова боротися за свою мрію стати матір'ю, незважаючи на всі труднощі. Її рішучість і відданість дівчинці, яку вона хоче виховати, вражають. Джетро Кальдер, з іншого боку, є складним персонажем, який спочатку здається холодним і відстороненим, але з часом відкриває свої справжні почуття. Взаємовідносини між ними розвиваються органічно, і читач відчуває напругу та емоції, які супроводжують їхній шлях. Хоча переклад книги не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом і персонажами.
