The novel “Cherry” is written in the tradition of Russian classical prose. The main characters are a priest, a landowner, and simple peasants who worked tirelessly all their lives. It is on such people that Rus' has rested and continues to rest. They want to work quietly, grow bread, raise children. “World revolutions” are completely alien to them. But they are drawn into the vortex of events that happened to the country in the period from 1905-1941. The Motherland did not always treat them with understanding; it was even cruel. However, this did not anger people's hearts. They remained faithful to their homeland, the village of Cherries, where they lived and worked all their lives. The novel “Cherry” is about them, people of labor and honor.

Глибока та зворушлива історія про простих людей
Роман «Вишеньки» вражає своєю щирістю та глибиною, відображаючи життя простих селян, священиків та землевласників у складні часи історії Росії. Автор майстерно передає дух епохи, показуючи, як люди, які все життя працювали на своїй землі, намагалися зберегти свою гідність і вірність Батьківщині, незважаючи на всі труднощі та жорстокість, з якими їм доводилося стикатися. Книга змушує задуматися про цінності праці, честі та вірності, а також про те, як важливо залишатися вірними своїм корінням. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає загальному сприйняттю твору. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цінує класичну прозу та хоче зануритися в атмосферу минулого, відчути пульс життя простих людей, які тримаються за свою землю та традиції.
