Glamorama, the latest novel from popular American writer Bret Easton Ellis (American Psycho, The Whistleblower), is a brilliant satire on modern society, purporting to show the depth of its spiritual and moral decay. "Гламорама" - це не просто роман, а справжній літературний шедевр, який змушує задуматися про глибокі проблеми нашого суспільства. Брет Істон Елліс майстерно створює образи, які відображають моральний і духовний розпад сучасного світу. Через призму життя Віктора Барда, моделі-невдахи, читач отримує можливість побачити жахливі реалії, що ховаються за блискучими фасадами великих міст. Елліс вміло грає з контрастами, показуючи, як легко можна потрапити в пастку матеріалізму та бездушності. Сюжет, що постійно змінюється, тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки, а глибокі філософські роздуми про сенс життя та справжні цінності залишають слід у свідомості. Переклад, хоч і виконаний за допомогою штучного інтелекту, в цілому досить якісний, хоча іноді трапляються незначні недоліки. Проте це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Рекомендую всім, хто цінує глибокі та провокаційні твори!
