The Soviet science fiction writer Alexander Romanovich Belyaev (1884–1942) created an entertaining and easy read without boredom. He almost looks like the Soviet Jules Verne. But the Soviet Gustave Flaubert is definitely not: Belyaev is a master of plot, but not a master of style.
