High school student Shiho Kadono goes on holiday to a mysterious village with her uncle, hoping to understand the secrets of her family. As soon as she arrives at the place, the fog thickens around her and she hears the frightening words: “Get out of here.” But the girl does not listen. The festive celebration gives way to a terrible sacrifice, and Shiho is taken away by creepy creatures. Now she is destined for a key role - to look after a real deity on the sacred mountain, as the Miko priestesses once did. However, the evil and ugly deity is capable of devouring anyone who does not obey his whims. Shiho learns to live among cruel monkeys and crows who have taken on human form, and more than anything else, she dreams of returning home. Having learned the god's history, she must decide whether to abandon the inhabitants of the sacred mountain to their fate or stay to help the deity find himself.

Книга "Таємниця ворона" вразила мене своєю оригінальністю та глибоким сюжетом. Історія старшокласниці Сіхо Кадоно, яка вирушає до загадкового села, сповнена інтриг і несподіваних поворотів. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу тривоги та напруги, коли дівчина стикається з жахливими істотами та жертвопринесеннями. Я була вражена, як глибоко розкриваються теми родинних таємниць, відповідальності та самопожертви. Сіхо, яка намагається знайти своє місце серед жорстоких мавп і воронів, стає символом боротьби за свободу та справедливість. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не заважає насолоджуватися сюжетом. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить містичні історії з елементами фентезі та глибокими моральними питаннями!
