Описані події та персонажі викликають сильні емоції, адже автор не боїться показати справжнє обличчя війни, її жорстокість і безглуздість. Якість перекладу, хоча й має деякі недоліки, не заважає загальному сприйняттю, а навпаки, додає певного шарму тексту. Це видання стане чудовим доповненням до бібліотеки тих, хто цікавиться історією та військовими конфліктами. Рекомендую всім, хто хоче зрозуміти, як важко було солдатам у ті часи, і які виклики стояли перед ними!
