The Queen of Scotland, Mary Stuart, spent almost two decades in captivity of her rival, Queen Elizabeth I of England. The intense plot of the novel is built on the confrontation between these two extraordinary natures. In 1587, the death penalty interrupted Mary's life, full of the most incredible events. And, apparently, only one goddess of history at that time knew that after 16 years the son of Mary Stuart, under the name of James I, would take the English throne, which his mother claimed.
