Memoirs of retired Lieutenant General Harold Moore, who commanded the 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division during the Vietnam War battle in the Ia Drang Valley. Moore was co-authored by journalist Joseph Galloway, who found himself at the center of this battle. The book is dedicated to both the US military and the fallen soldiers of the 320th, 33rd and 66th regiments of the Vietnamese People's Army. They were all soldiers.
