Unfortunately, the history of the Second World War is a favorite topic for a variety of speculations for the sake of various political interests. Our former allies under the Warsaw Pact especially like to do this. The battles of May 4–11, 1945 in Prague, the last European capital that was in the hands of Hitler’s troops, are just one of these cases - until today, the Prague events have been radically rewritten several times already once. It has gotten to the point where the very participation of Soviet troops in the liberation of the city is denied. This book is about how it really happened and who REALLY liberated Prague.
