Книга "Голіаф" стала для мене справжнім відкриттям у світі сучасної літератури. Сюжет розвивається навколо командора Рошель "Роккі" Джексон, який опиняється в епіцентрі неймовірних подій, коли його авіаносець піддається атаці з глибини океану. Автор майстерно переплітає елементи наукової фантастики з реаліями сучасного світу, порушуючи важливі питання про насильство, мир та етику використання технологій. Персонажі, зокрема Саймон Кова, вражають своєю глибиною та мотивацією, що робить їх надзвичайно цікавими. Особливо вражає концепція самосвідомого біохімічного комп'ютерного мозку Goliath, який стає не лише гравцем, а й активним учасником у цій небезпечній грі. Напруга зростає на кожній сторінці, а фінал залишає безліч запитань, що змушує задуматися про майбутнє.
