Ippolit Kalinkin is a former swindler. Now he has chosen a new profession for himself - a private detective. One day, Ippolit Kalinkin is asked to investigate a ghost case. Inexplicable things began to happen in the old count’s house: either a scarf or a precious pin would disappear. The count decided that this was the work of evil spirits.
