Автор не боїться ставити складні питання і викликати дискусії щодо подій 1937 року, які досі залишаються предметом суперечок. Читання цієї книги стало для мене справжнім відкриттям, адже вона не лише розкриває факти, але й пропонує альтернативні точки зору на політичні репресії та їх наслідки. Вона спонукає до глибокого аналізу і критичного мислення, змушуючи задуматися про те, як історія формується і як ми її сприймаємо. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які можуть відволікати від змісту, я вважаю, що ця книга є важливим внеском у розуміння радянського минулого.
