Історія перевертня Блейдда, який намагається знайти своє місце у світі після загибелі свого вождя, наповнена філософськими роздумами про ідентичність, втрату та відновлення. Автор майстерно створює атмосферу безнадії та боротьби, показуючи, як Блейдд, будучи примарою самого себе, намагається знайти сенс у своєму існуванні. Читачі відчувають його біль, ненависть і прагнення повернутися на Альбіон, що робить його персонажа дуже близьким і зрозумілим. Хоча переклад тексту іноді має недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. "Час вовків" - це не просто історія про мандрівку, це глибоке дослідження душі, яке залишає слід у серці.
