Ця історія не просто про винахід катапульти, а про внутрішні конфлікти, які виникають, коли мрії про ідеали стикаються з реальністю жорстокого світу. Автор майстерно передає емоції персонажів, зокрема кохання Зопіріона до Корінни, що надає сюжету додаткової глибини. Хоча переклад тексту має деякі недоліки, загалом він не заважає насолоджуватися цим захоплюючим твором. Я б рекомендував цю книгу всім, хто цінує не лише історичні романи, а й глибокі роздуми про людську природу та творчість.
