Vladimir Alenikov is one of the best directors of Russian cinema, writer, screenwriter and producer. Director of the famous films “The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin”, “Bindyuzhnik and the King”, “The Smile of God, or a Pure Odessa Story”, “The Princess’s War” and many others. For several years he was a professor of film directing at Los Angeles University. Now he leads directing workshops at the Higher Courses for Film and Television at VGIK and at the Higher Courses for Scriptwriters and Directors, and also teaches special courses at the Artery of Cinema film school and at the Nikita Mikhalkov Film Academy.
