The second part of the Alcatraz series. Alcatraz travels to the Library of Alexandria to save his father and grandfather from the evil Keepers who are stealing souls. Upon arrival, he finds himself separated from his companions, and wanders alone through the library, pursued by the Guardians, who offer him books in exchange for his soul. Gradually he finds his companions, finds the tomb of his ancestor and learns that his father sold his soul for all the knowledge of the world - but there is a way to bring him back.
