Tim Lott (b. 1956) is one of the most popular contemporary English writers. His first book, The Scent of Dry Roses (1996), received the Best Autobiography Award in 1996. Роман "Блю з Уайт-сіті" Тіма Лотта вражає своєю глибиною та багатогранністю. Автор майстерно зображує конфлікт між дружбою та любов'ю, змушуючи читача задуматися над важливими питаннями про вірність, вибір та наслідки своїх дій. Френкі Блю, головний герой, постає перед складним вибором, що робить його образ дуже реалістичним і близьким. Лотт чудово передає атмосферу ностальгії та радості, з якою герої згадують про свої "Найкращі Дні", що робить читання ще більш емоційним. Хоча переклад тексту не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися змістом та стилем автора. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто цінує глибокі та зворушливі історії про людські стосунки.
