Роман "Північний вальс" Дж. Блейка занурює читача в атмосферу напередодні Громадянської війни в Америці, де на фоні історичних подій розгортається особиста драма молодої господині маєтку. Автор майстерно передає емоції та переживання героїні, яка опиняється перед складним вибором між двома чоловіками, кожен з яких має свої сильні сторони. Незважаючи на те, що текст був перекладений за допомогою штучного інтелекту, більшість фраз звучить досить природно, а сюжет тримає в напрузі до останньої сторінки. Я була вражена глибиною персонажів та їхніми внутрішніми конфліктами, які відображають не лише особисті, але й соціальні проблеми того часу. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить романтичні історії з історичним контекстом та складними моральними виборами!
