Cara has a known problem with hot, sexy guys; she falls under their charm so quickly and deeply that with every unsuccessful relationship (as a rule, every relationship of hers is unsuccessful) she loses a piece of self-confidence. All the men she had met in her young life had so far failed her - at school, in college, but, before anyone else, she had been let down by her self-centered womanizing father. She decided not to fall for a beautiful face and pumped up body anymore, following her principles for two years now, until she met Dante.

Dante knows that he has no right to get involved with the pretty young Kara. On the one hand, she works for his best friend, and, more importantly, she is not right for him - too young, too innocent, too kind-hearted. On the other hand, given the mood in which he is at the moment (the woman to whom he was ready to offer his hand and heart chose her career instead), such a “sweet candy” like Kara should run as fast as she can further away from it in the opposite direction.
