Книга "Олександр II, або Історія трьох самотностей" Л. М. Ляшенко є справжнім відкриттям для всіх, хто цікавиться історією Росії та особистістю одного з найзначніших імператорів. Автор вдало поєднує біографічні факти з глибоким аналізом особистості Олександра II, розкриваючи не лише його політичні досягнення, такі як скасування кріпосного права, але й людські риси, які роблять його ближчим до читача. Книга наповнена живими портретами оточення імператора, що дозволяє краще зрозуміти, як його рішення вплинули на життя багатьох людей. Особливо вражає опис його самотності, яка стала наслідком його реформ і політичних рішень. Хоча переклад тексту може містити деякі недоліки, загальна якість книги та глибина дослідження компенсують ці недоліки.
