During the Second World War, German military aviation had two main types of single-engine fighters - the Bf 109 from Messerschmitt and the FW190 from Focke-Wulf. The general Russian reader has very little information about the latter of the two cars. Meanwhile, the FW190 was reproduced in tens of thousands of copies and performed not only in the roles of fighter, reconnaissance, fighter-bomber and attack aircraft, but also in exotic versions of a torpedo bomber, carrier of guided missiles and glide bombs, as well as a flying testbed for unusual artillery systems. Original in design, with many elements of novelty, this aircraft is certainly of great interest to all fans of the history of aviation technology.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
