Автор майстерно створює атмосферу безнадії та боротьби за виживання у світі, де моральні принципи залишилися в минулому. Персонажі, які намагаються знайти безпечне місце, стають справжніми героями, готовими на все, щоб досягти своїх цілей. Особливо вражає розвиток антагоністів, які втілюють усі найгірші риси людства. Хоча текст перекладено за допомогою штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незручностей у формулюваннях, загалом, це не заважає насолоджуватися захоплюючою історією.
