The textbook is dedicated to the five-year history of the theater circus (1918–1923). The performances of V. E. Meyerhold, Yu. P. Annenkov, S. E. Radlov, N. M. Foregger, G. M. Kozintsev and L. Z. Trauberg, S. M. Eisenstein are considered by the author through the prism of the interaction of traditionalism and futurism .The publication has a historical and theoretical orientation and is addressed primarily to students majoring in theater studies and directing.The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
