Russian hacker Nikodim Pankratov, living in the United States, is divorcing his wife. Contrary to the court order, he plans to take his young son with him to Russia, paying compensation to his ex-wife. However, the woman demanded monetary compensation that was unaffordable for Pankratov. Offended by his wife, and even more so by American justice, Nicodemus develops and successfully carries out a plan of revenge. He hacks into the database of the largest American bank, Imperial, and begins methodically withdrawing money from its accounts. The security service is trying to identify the daring hacker, but to no avail. The bank's management panics: if they fail to stop the hacker before the opening of the New York Stock Exchange, the bank's shares will collapse and provoke a global financial crisis.
