This book is an artistic description of a real “free journey.” I hope that my work will allow the reader to look at distant countries in a new way, from the inside, and to learn a “new version” of the structure of the world, different from the one that we diligently, day after day day, shown on TV and in glossy magazines. This journey (and book), I hope, is only the “first stage” of the Round the World expedition. Here many readers may ask: what can even be called a round-the-world expedition? Obviously, there is no definitive answer here. A man who left his house to the east and came from the west, a circumnavigator? What if he returned from the route several times during the year and continued his journey again? What if he met a river on his way and crossed it by boat? What if you crossed the ocean by some kind of transport (which, you see, is inevitable)? What if a certain country is closed to travel, or simply for some reason did not give him a visa? As you can see, the more questions, the more answers. Obviously, a biologist will tell you: “An expedition around the world must certainly pass through different climatic zones!” The geographer will be no less categorical: “A round-the-world route is considered to be at least 40,000 km long, with two crossings of the equator... you can also add a certain number of continents.” Thus, each potential circumnavigator determines his own route, in accordance with his goals, objectives and methods of your journey. Thus, many people circumnavigate the world solely for the sake of fame (glorifying their name or sponsor). Others set records for the Guinness Book, others pursue purely sporting interests and even include their trip in the championship in certain sports... With hitchhiking it is even more difficult. After all, each person (and hitchhiker) has his own definition of hitchhiking: for some it is a way of free transportation (hippies), for others it is a method to prove to everyone that you are cooler than your competitors (“sporty” hitchhikers), for others it is a way of understanding the world and yourself myself. It is to the third group that the “free travelers” from the Academy of Free Travels belong. Many people call us “scientific hitchhikers,” because we organize a trip to places where no hitchhiker has gone before, we discover new countries and continents, and through our books we show the world as it really is, “from the inside,” and not like that , as politicians and journalists want to show it to us.

The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
