Two thousand years before the era of Sigmar, the first human civilization arose in the arid lands south of the Old World. The gods blessed the great empire of Nehekhara and granted it wealth and prosperity. However, prosperity came to an end when a person dared to encroach on the secret belonging to the celestials. This is the story of the priest-king Nagash, whose desire for immortality brought a monstrous curse upon people.
