Nanotechnology and artificial intelligence, cybernetics, genetic experiments were prohibited... But now the Shaa Empire has fallen. The rebels, who took control of most of the star fleet of the former “masters”, won - and established a regime of severe terror on the ruins of the empire. The chaos of the Time of Troubles was replaced by the iron order of a new tyranny.
