From the Egyptian exile onwards, throughout world history, the Jews have had many reasons to complain. According to the author of the book, they developed their own language specifically for this purpose. This language - Yiddish, has been declared dead by some, but the dead man is alive and seems to be doing well. Michael Wex, a scientist, translator and writer, talks about this wonderful language in his book, touching on such topics as religion, culture, love, superstitions , kitchen, and, of course, sex and death. Despite the serious topic, the author managed to create a truly funny book.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
