The inevitable collapse of the chimerical state formation "Ukraine" again makes the question urgent: what will replace the territories of historical Little Russia and New Russia, Galicia, Bukovina and Carpathian Rus? Ukraine has almost no common Ukrainian history. There is a separate history of the territories that are still part of present-day Ukraine, and there is a common history of Rus (Russia). Even "all-Ukrainian" politicians, writers and "heroes" were still figures of individual regions. The disintegration of Ukraine into separate regions is the closest and most real prospect for this unfortunate country. At the same time, there is no truly state ideology in Ukraine. Ukrainian "nationalism", or Ukrainianism, cannot be considered a political ideology, representing a classic totalitarian sect.
