Rethinking the classical theory of property and sacrifice by Claude Levi-Strauss, which had a significant impact on modern anthropology, the author offers an original interpretation of the "ethno-metaphysics" of the American Indians, built on the interpretation of such concepts as "perspectivism" and "multinaturalism". Developing the ideas of anthropologists Philippe Descola, Roy Wagner and Marilyn Strathern, as well as philosophers Bruno Latour, Isabelle Stengers, Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, de Castro comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to create a fundamentally new post-structuralist methodology.
