Книга "Законник" вражає своєю глибиною та складністю тем, які вона піднімає. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи фентезі з реаліями життя, де справедливість і закон стають предметом боротьби між добром і злом. Граф Аурон, як "Законник", стає символом моральної відповідальності, і його боротьба з корупцією та злочинністю викликає захоплення. Читач відчуває всю тяжкість його обов'язків, а також ненависть тих, хто страждає від його рішень. Сюжет сповнений напруги, інтриг та несподіваних поворотів, що тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, які, звісно, помітні, це не зменшує загального враження від книги.
