The texts of this edition (“The Symbolic, the Imaginary Real” and “The Names of the Father”), further developed by Lacan in his classic works: “The Function and Field of Language and Speech in Psychoanalysis” and “The Four Fundamental Concepts of Psychoanalysis”, introduce the key problematics of Lacanian psychoanalysis and articulate its constituent triads Symbolic-Imaginary-Real as “true Names of the Father.” The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program.
