A group is sent to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant under the leadership of Veles, a former crime boss, and now a very polite and kind stalker, who survived a deep DNA mutation in his previous trip to the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. As a result of which, he gained power over the electrical anomalies of the Zone, enormous physical strength, fantastic abilities to regenerate damaged tissue, and blood that glowed funny with a scarlet light. The goal of Veles’s campaign is quite simple - revenge. He made a deal with the First Stalker, known among the tales and legends of the Zone, as well as the Mummy and the Guardian of the Monolith. The deal took place, but only by pure chance. The First Stalker, apparently absentmindedly, forgot to explain to Veles that the human body is in principle unable to survive this mutation. Alas, Veles survived. But his friend died there. Veles is eager to put an end to the vile mutant. Very interesting creatures will move with him to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Two Black Dogs are his friends and descendants of mutated wolves. Beggar is the leader of one of the largest gangs in the Zone and an old schemer. Valdis is the Beggar’s right hand, the best hand-to-hand fighter on at least the continent. Narc is one of the former “bulls” of boss Veles, a little crazy, but almost kind. Izya is a mutant, a kink and just a good friend of the stalker Veles. Olya is a stalker, the last survivor of the Challenge group and Veles’s beloved, who was considered dead, but survived thanks to a random coincidence. Most of Veles' companions pursue their own goals. But everyone needs to get through to the Center of the Zone. Such a curious company will go to the lair of the First Stalker and the permanent location of the Monolith. Will go in winter, on New Year's Eve. Curious adventures in the process of assembling a team and on the way to the Center of the Zone are guaranteed. And, of course, in the finale, the tragic death of the First Stalker - may he rest in peace.
