Автор майстерно поєднує елементи детективу та романтики, створюючи напружену атмосферу, в якій читач разом з капітаном Назаровим намагається розгадати загадку зникнення матері його коханої Сашки. Персонажі прописані дуже живо, і їхні емоції відчуваються на кожній сторінці. Особливо вразила динаміка між Сергієм і Сашкою, яка додає глибини сюжету. Водночас, книга порушує важливі теми, такі як втрата, відновлення та сила кохання.
