Lyudmila Petrushevskaya’s book “Lullaby of the Bird’s Homeland” includes the best stories and novellas from the “My best” cycle. The first part of this collection consists of stories told in the first person, it is called “Monologues for the Theater”, since some of these texts were performed as one-man performances on our and foreign stages. In the second part the reader will find already familiar short stories, many of which received at one time, an award for the best story of the year.
