Fifty-eight years have passed since the last World War, during which the opposing superpowers used all the weapons of mass destruction they had, causing a nuclear winter effect that killed the vast majority of the planet's population. A few survived a long cold night that lasted for many months, during which most of the plants, animals and birds died. States have disappeared. Cities have turned into radiation-poisoned concrete jungles. And many survivors have changed irreversibly. No, they didn’t turn into zombies, didn’t “mutate” into pterodactyls, and didn’t grow a second head; they simply ceased to be people in the previous sense of the word - they became psychopaths, murderers, rapists, cannibals - degenerates. But there were others who did not lose their human appearance. They gathered in communities, moved away from the dead cities, started farming, and worked hard on the land. Time passed. New generations came into the world that changed after the War - generations of people and generations of degenerates. The first live in settlements that have been strengthened by decades of hard struggle for life, work, create families and raise children. They send seekers into the Wasteland - small detachments of specially trained searchers who obtain everything necessary that communities cannot produce on their own - weapons, tools, various materials. The latter live in ghost towns, in deserted villages, towns, hamlets and villages. They are the mortal enemies of seekers. The enemies are familiar, clashes with them are commonplace. But history does not stand still, and the world, even the post-apocalyptic one, is changing. Yesterday's enemy - a ghoul and a moral monster - fades into the background, pales against the background of a new enemy, organized and technically superior, who fanatically believes that he is the only “superman” and chosen by the gods, and all others are dust and dirt under the hooves of his horses and under the wheels of his land “ships”.
