In the South Seas, in one of the Dutch colonies, lives a drunkard, parasite and womanizer Edward Wilson, known as “Red Ted”. One day, Wilson was arrested for drunken brawling in a china shop, and he was also accused of molesting local women who loved him for his free-spirited creativity and charm. This accusation was made by Puritan missionary Martha Jones and her brother, Dr. Owen Jones. The manager of the colony, Gruyter, deports the hooligan to a neighboring island, where he immediately finds entertainment among the local “beauties.” But his vacation in exile is short-lived. Martha Jones herself lands on the island, who sees that deportation for “Red” is just a resort and decides that it is her duty as a missionary to put the sinner on the right path, “to save him from himself.” Wilson has a different opinion regarding his life path...
