Історія Ніка Ламберта, який пройшов шлях від рядового десантника до генерала, вражає своєю глибиною та емоційною напругою. Автор майстерно зображує внутрішні переживання героя, його сумніви щодо сенсу війни та пошуки справедливості в умовах безперервного конфлікту. Військові дії, інтриги та зради створюють динамічний сюжет, який тримає в напрузі. Особливо вражає, як Нік, незважаючи на всі труднощі, залишається вірним своїм принципам і друзям, що робить його персонажа надзвичайно привабливим. Хоча переклад не завжди ідеальний, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую цю книгу всім, хто любить наукову фантастику з глибоким змістом і захоплюючим сюжетом!
