“The Biggest Bastard” is a science fiction novel in the hit-or-miss genre with elements of thriller, action, detective and dystopia. This is a continuation of the stories “Castor Oil” and “Molehole Digger”. Special agent Olgert Vasiliev finds himself in the World of the Determinator. The determinant establishes the date of the “first significant fall” among the people who came to him. Then the “sinners” are returned to the “age before sin” and forced to live life from that moment again - according to the matrices of the arrogant ruler of the worlds. In the guise of a seven-year-old boy, Olgert is thrown back to Earth. Doctor Eduard Lavrentyev does not know how to return Olgert to his true age. In desperation, he takes the boy to his homeland - to a town near Moscow, on Dvor Vozhda Street, hoping that this move will return Olgert “to square one.” A ray of hope appeared before the boy, and the story ends on a bright, optimistic note.

Книга "Найбільший підонок" вразила мене своєю оригінальністю та глибиною сюжету. Автор майстерно поєднує елементи трилера, бойовика та антиутопії, створюючи захоплюючу історію про спецагента Ольгерта Васильєва, який потрапляє у світ, де його гріхи стають основою для нового життя. Ідея про повернення до "віку до гріха" та можливість виправити помилки минулого викликає багато роздумів про моральність і вибір. Книга сповнена динамічних сцен, інтригуючих персонажів і несподіваних поворотів, які тримають у напрузі до останньої сторінки. Хоча переклад в окремих моментах може бути не зовсім точним, це не заважає насолоджуватися історією. Рекомендую всім, хто любить фантастику з глибоким змістом і захоплюючими пригодами!
