The sixth and final volume of the Collected Works of Varlam Tikhonovich Shalamov was compiled by the author’s correspondence with his friends, his former fellow campmates and many outstanding figures of Russian culture of the 20th century: Akhmatova, Pasternak, Solzhenitsyn, Likhachev and others.
