During the forced stop of the train heading to Istanbul, four fellow travelers while away the time in a local cultural center. On this day the wedding is celebrated. In the midst of the fun, random guests are shown scenes of Turkish folk theater. The public receives the “actors” with a bang. Success inspires them. Having secured financial support and returned to Istanbul, they decide to found the New Turkish Theater. At first everything goes well. But soon the money runs out, and the troupe gradually begins to disintegrate. However, no one is waiting for them at home, and in the short time that these people spent together, they became a real family. And the theater is their last refuge, their last refuge...
