"Червоний дім" - це книга, яка змушує задуматися про те, як минуле впливає на наше сьогодення. Марк Хеддон зумів створити неповторну атмосферу, де звичайний відпочинок перетворюється на справжню емоційну подорож. Сюжет розгортається навколо двох сімей, які, здавалося б, мають провести час разом, але їхні таємниці та незавершені справи з минулого створюють напруження та конфлікти. Кожен персонаж має свою історію, і автор майстерно розкриває їхні внутрішні переживання, що робить їх дуже реалістичними та близькими. Книга насичена гумором, але також і глибокими роздумами про життя, любов і втрати. Незважаючи на деякі недоліки в перекладі, загальна якість тексту та емоційна глибина твору роблять його вартою уваги. Рекомендую всім, хто любить літературу, що змушує задуматися про важливі речі в житті!
