Ця книга є справжнім шедевром, що відкриває читачеві глибокий світ творчості та життя Еріха Марії Ремарка. Автор майстерно передає не лише факти біографії письменника, а й його емоції, переживання та філософські роздуми, які стали основою його творів. Читач має можливість зануритися в епоху, коли Ремарк створював свої романи, і зрозуміти, як жахи світових війн вплинули на його творчість. Ілюстрації з рідкісними фотографіями надають додаткову цінність, дозволяючи краще уявити життя автора. Хоча переклад тексту здійснювався за допомогою штучного інтелекту і в деяких місцях є незначні недоліки, це не зменшує загального враження від книги. Я б рекомендував цю біографію всім, хто цінує літературу та хоче дізнатися більше про одну з найзначніших постатей XX століття.
