Three widows get together once a month to drink tea and gossip, after which they go to trim the ivy on their husbands' graves. As soon as the viewer gets used to the situation, the heavy artillery is launched - it turns out that the widows are not averse to having fun and even having an affair. So, enterprising Lucille wants to arrange her personal life right in the cemetery, for which she meets a gray-haired widower who has come to visit a neighboring grave. In three hours everything will end as it should: the friends will quarrel and make up, go to the wedding of a certain Selma, whose husband bears the last name Bonfigliano. Ida will arrange her life with a gray-haired widower, Lucille will delight the audience with a couple of new parrot clothes, and Doris will suddenly pass into another world, having previously admitted that fruit makes her bloated.
