Книга «Погоня за вічною весною» стала для мене справжнім відкриттям. Сергій Шаргунов вдало поєднав в собі глибокий аналіз життя Валентина Катаєва з його творчістю, створивши яскраву картину епохи, в якій жив і творив цей видатний письменник. Особливо вразило, як автор розкриває складність і суперечливість особистості Катаєва, його зв'язок з історичними подіями XX століття та вплив родинних традицій на його творчість. Читач дізнається не лише про його літературні досягнення, а й про особисті трагедії, які формували його світогляд. Хоча текст перекладено з використанням штучного інтелекту, що іноді призводить до незначних неточностей, загальна якість перекладу вражає.
