“Last Tango in Paris” is a novel by American prose writer Robert Alley, which gave the impression of a bomb exploding due to its frankly erotic scenes. The central theme of the book is an invincible passion that captures a person, depriving him of the ability to think and reason. The book was written by the author according to his (joint with F. Arcalli) script and was published simultaneously with the film by B. Bertolucci with Marlon Brando and Maria Schneider in the leading roles. In light of the overwhelming success of the film, Ellie's novel was unconditionally considered a classic of the genre.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
