“Arranging Gardens” (in Chinese “Yuanye”, literally “Smelting Gardens”) is the first treatise on gardening art in the Chinese tradition. This is an amazing text with a very unfortunate fate. It was written at the end of the Ming Dynasty (in the middle of the 17th century) by the master of artificial slides and “garden designer” Ji Cheng.
The text of the book was translated from the original language using an artificial intelligence program. For the most part, the translation of the text is of very high quality, but in some cases, due to the imperfection of the technology, there may be incorrect phrase translations in the text, as well as single words and expressions may not be translated.
